Lizzie’s Story:

Last night I came across a post on yahoo about an amazingly beautiful and inspiring woman named Lizzie Velasquez and I just had to share her positivity with you.

Lizzie is one of three people in the world with this undiagnosed condition, the main symptom of her illness is that she is unable to gain weight. Lizzie weighs sixty pounds and is blind in one eye, but that hasn’t stopped her from living out her dreams.

In high school some mean bullies posted a video on youtube deeming Lizzie as “The World’s Ugliest Woman,” the video was only eight seconds long but it received four millions views… that truly disgusts me. Lizzie was told horrendous things, like “Why don’t you just do the world a favor and put a gun to your head,” but instead of listening to the negativity she set a four goals for herself.

One was to become a motivational speaker, two was to publish a book, three was to graduate college and four was to create a family and career of her own.

Lizzie has been a motivational speaker for seven years now, is currently enrolled in college and has already published two books, one is called “Lizzie Beautiful” and the other is “Be Beautiful, Be You.”

So to all of those bullies that told her she wouldn’t every accomplish anything… just look at her. Who’s laughing now?

This just goes to show that adversity comes in many forms, and struggles are usually strongly tied with being different, but being unique is a gift, so share your perspective with the world… because after all there is only one you, remember that.

Doreen talks about symbols of Sirius and if we open our eyes we will realize that they are everywhere, but mainly they are in places of power and this is because these places know the power that Sirius contains. They also know that the energy of Sirius is neutral so anyone can use it and that is why its knowledge is hidden from the rest of us.

Doreen also talks about the Dolphins and how they have told her that if we don’t change our ways they are going to leave, like the unicorns, dragons, fairies and mermaids did a long time ago.

I saw these videos, part 1 & 2, a few days ago and learned some interesting info that I hadn’t known before so I thought I’d share it with you.

In this video Doreen talks about the star system Sirius and how we aren’t taught this in school but it is actually the brightest star in our sky, 75 times brighter than the sun. She informs us about being blocked, in some cases from, even seeing images of Sirius on the internet.

She then shares stories of an African tribe called the Dogon and their history with Sirians, the Dogon talk about people with fishtails, who they called Nommos, who came down from Sirius and taught them how to plant and grow their own food. The Dogon also knew, before the rest of the world did, that Sirius had two stars not only one.

The Dogon have also said that Sirians were the ones to bring water to our planet in order for them to survive here, and scientist cannot explain how water got here or how it has remained her in its liquid form. Later on it was also found that another tribe had had a similar story to the Dogon’s with Sirius.

Doreen then connects this with Egypt and how Isis, Osiris and their son Horus are said to have come from Sirius. And in original drawing of Isis she was drawn with either a mermaid tail or a fish on her head.

Get this… the day before yesterday we were at the salvation army and my mom pointed out the book section, which I hadn’t even noticed, and for some reason I thought to myself, “I bet I’ll find some really awesome spiritual books here.”

So, I basically went from shelf to shelf and read every title on every book until I came across the religious section. I skimmed each spine and saw that most of the books were christian based, but then I saw a book entitled “Invisible Acts of Power by Caroline Myss.”

I plucked it out of the shelf and quickly read the back of the book, I noticed words like spiritual insight and intuition but I still wasn’t sure what it was exactly about. So, I opened it up to a random page and right there in big letters were the words “Examining the Heart of Your Forth Chakra” and I immediately thought, “I am definitely getting this book.” The creepy thing was it looked like it was brand new, like someone had just bought it and for whatever reason decided to give it away to the Salvation Army.

I also picked up a novel called The First Immortal by James L. Halperin that talks about the future and its seemed pretty interesting. Anyways, what I’m trying to say is that you’ll always find what your meant to find when you’re meant to find it.

Ok, something really creepy happened just a few minutes ago. I was with my mom when suddenly the phone rang and the caller I.D. said it was my grandma calling. So, my mom answered and said, “Hello…. Hello?……….Helllooo?” all she heard was silence.

She thought that maybe something was wrong with my grandma and she just couldn’t talk, so she got up and went to check on her. When she did she saw that she was asleep and her phone was in her drawer, face up, and nothing was touching it so it couldn’t have accidently dialed our number.

She came back to the room I was in and told me that she didn’t know how my grandmas phone had called ours if she was asleep and her phone was untouched. I told her that a spirit had done it either to spook us or try and give us a message.

She told me to go check on my grandma again to see if she was breathing, and she was fine. She actually woke up when I was their and I explained to her what had happened, she said that she hadn’t called us. Her phone also had a lock on it so you would have to press two buttons before pressing speed dial making it even more difficult to accidentally call anyone.

Then I thought maybe the time of the call had a numerological significance and I saw that she had received the call at 7:38 am. So, I looked it up and found this blog post.

After I read it with my mom I freaked out a little, in a good way, because I was just talking about working more with the Goddess Lakshmi. She had entered my life a while back and she is a Goddess of prosperity, wealth, fortune, abundance and beauty.

I’ve also felt that I’m going through spiritual transformation right now and I’ve been thinking a lot about making a major change in something that involves spirituality in my life.

Finding Pennies:

These past few days my mom and I have been finding pennies everywhere, more than once a day and in the most random places. My mom use to find pennies every once in a while and I know that then it signified that a certain guardian of ours was around, but now if feels like it not only is it a sign from that guardian but also a message of great importance.

I feel like a transformation is happening and a big life change is coming, it gives me that weird unexplained giddy feeling in my solar plexus chakra.

I had no idea, until a little while back, that Hay House Publishing has its own Radio Show with a variety of awesome hosts and really stimulating conversations for the spiritually inclined.

You can listen to it live on your computer or search through the archives and listen to a show of your preference that has already been broad casted. It’s really cool! Anyways, I was listening to a Radio Show that Doreen Virtue had done on August 8, 2012 and thought I should share some of what she talked about with you.

Here’s a little overview so you can get a taste of what she talked about.

She reassures us that our prayers are being heard and answered, but the problem is that when we get stressed, consume processed foods, alcohol or drugs we block the guidance that we are given from being received.

She says that the angels have told her that on this physical plane messages are carried upon molecules of oxygen and that is why breathing deeply, like when you meditate, can make it easier communicate with your guides.

She explains that if you’ve been having problems with communication in your relationship, technology or transportation the reason is because on August 8, 2012 it was the end of the Mercury Retrograde.

So, feelings of being stuck or not having enough of something are going away now, and this is a great time to cleanse your life. Out with the old and in with the new, the things that no longer benefit us should be removed.

She says that instead of saying, “Why doesn’t someone do something about ________?” We need to understand that we are someone that can do something about ________, because right now is a great time for realizing and using the power that each of us has to make a change.

She informs us that the ocean is responsible for 50% of the freshwater on this planet, and that this oxygen comes from a plant called phytoplankton. During photosynthesis this plant releases oxygen as its waste product.

However, certain chemicals, mainly phosphates, are poured down the drain and enter the ocean where they then create algal blooms which block phytoplankton from getting sunlight and ultimately kill the phytoplankton.

Don’t Procrastinate Your Life Purpose- Doreen Virtue:

This video definitely hits home with me, I just watched it a while ago with my mom and all I could think about was how much I had let my ego control my actions in the past and the present. I’ve always had problems with procrastinating when it comes to activities where no one else, but myself, is there to push and pressure me into completing the work.

Unfortunately, a lot of the tasks that I am must complete for my life path involve counting on “me, myself and I” to be my only motivation. In my opinion it takes a lot of self-discipline, passion and hard work to achieve this by yourself, but the key is understanding that you and only you can do it.

We all need to stop waiting around for things to change, for someone or something to rescue us from our chaotic lives and take matters into our own hands. We need to remind ourselves that no matter how alone we feel, we are never, ever truly alone.

The angels are always with us and they are just waiting for us to ask them for help so that they can guide us in the right direction. Remember, they can’t help us if we don’t ask them due to the universal law of free will, so ask each and every time you need guidance and specify what you need help with.

Doreen mentions one of her favorite quotes in the video above and I think we can all gain some insight from its wisdom.
